Does Axis Pro work for a therapy or counseling?

Yes. Pick "Clinic front desk" during setup and Axis Pro shows Calendar, Clients, Contracts, Booking and Client Portal and hides what a therapy or counseling does not use. Every choice can be changed later in Settings.

What does it cost?

Pro is $29.99 a month with everything most clinic front desk need. Pro Plus at $89.99 adds automations, lead forms, pipelines and e-sign agreements. Every paid plan starts with a 5 day trial. You are not charged until it ends, and you can cancel before then.

Can I rename things to match how I talk?

Yes. By default clinic front desk see Patients, Visits, Treatments and Appointments. Rename any of them, or turn modules on and off, from Settings.
